Wanna ride the bull? The Taurine is custom bred for the hardtail racing scene. An already-light design gets a further weight reduction via the HI-MODulus carbon tubing. Consequently, the frame is both superlight and boasts carbon's heralded vibration-damping qualities.
HI-MOD STORY
Anybody can lay-up carbon fiber. But nobody tunes HI-MOD unidirectional fibers quite like Cannondale. The Taurine HI-MOD tubeset is optimized for the ride characteristics, strength, and light weight that hardtail riders require.

UPDATED S.A.V.E. FEATURES
Proven vibration-damping technology in the chain stays increases rider comfort for those long Sunday rides. The chain stay bridge is inclined for better mud-shedding clearance when running tires up to 2.4 inches wide.
|
SYSTEM INTEGRATION
Integrating components into the frame design shaves weight and boosts performance. Little wonder other companies have begun to follow Cannondale's lead more than a decade after we started using Si. On the Taurine, Si is used both at the head tube and bottom bracket for premium steering and pedaling performance, respectively.

WEIGHT: Don't see a weight listed for this bike? Wondering why that is? Well, we used to list our weights based upon medium or 56 cm frame and err on the side of caution when we know there will be variances due to welds, paint thicknesses, etc. But some of our competitors are weighing their small or extra small frames and rounding down. Then you're left wondering what's going on and making important buying decisions based upon faulty information. That's not right.
So because weight is too important to you as a consumer, we encourage a healthy bit of skepticism over published weights. Go to your local dealer, see it, feel it, weigh it and test ride it for yourself. We're that confident. You should be, too.
