More than a quarter-century of optimized tube shaping goes into the aluminum front triangle, while the rear stays and dropouts are borrowed from its big brothers in the Elite road bike line. The net result is the economical performance of aluminum with a carbon fiber rear end for fire-breathing ride characteristics.
MATERIALS + SHAPE = PERFORMANCE
Whatever the materials, our engineers shape tubing to extract maximum performance. On the front end, 6061-T6 aluminum maximizes the material's resistance to lateral and torsional forces; the carbon fiber rear triangle delivers the ultimate in comfort and power transfer. |
