Some riders live to ride all day. And all night. For them - for the marathon and 24-hour enthusiasts - there's the Rush. Ultra-light monocoque front triangle is mated to a swingarm with butted stays and a single-pivot design that shaves grams and boosts comfort over the long haul.
HI-MOD
Carbon fiber is like a piano. Don't tune it right, and it's junk. Which is why Cannondale's HI-MOD unidirectional carbon fiber sounds so sweet: Greater design flexibility and tube profiling precisely tunes ride quality.
|
MONOCOQUE FRONT TRIANGLE
Better performance from a lighter frame that uses less material? It's possible when design is optimized and frame loads are integrated as part of the engineering process. That's the beauty of Cannondale's monocoque construction.
|
SINGLE-PIVOT DESIGN
For long-distance riders looking for premium pedaling efficiency with excellent suspension response and lower maintenance requirements, Cannondale's use of a single-pivot design makes sense. Marathon riders don't need to worry about link flex or losing energy to an inefficient suspension set-up.
|
SYSTEM INTEGRATION
Integrating components into the frame design shaves weight and boosts performance. Little wonder other companies have begun to follow Cannondale's lead more than a decade after we started using Si. On the Rush, Si is used both at the head tube and bottom bracket for premium steering and pedaling performance, respectively.

WEIGHT: Don't see a weight listed for this bike? Wondering why that is? Well, we used to list our weights based upon medium or 56 cm frame and err on the side of caution when we know there will be variances due to welds, paint thicknesses, etc. But some of our competitors are weighing their small or extra small frames and rounding down. Then you're left wondering what's going on and making important buying decisions based upon faulty information. That's not right.
So because weight is too important to you as a consumer, we encourage a healthy bit of skepticism over published weights. Go to your local dealer, see it, feel it, weigh it and test ride it for yourself. We're that confident. You should be, too.
