• STAGED TRAVEL
  A custom tuned shock paired to a precisely engineered swing link delivers 100mm of perfectly staged travel that is supple at the start, linear though the middle for efficient pedaling and firm at the end to prevent bottoming.
• 29er XC GEOMETRY
  We took the racy geometry of the Scalpel and tweaked it for riders who want agile and playful handling, but also want extra stability when things get rugged.
• OPTIMIZED ALLOY
  A remarkable blend of refined tube shapes, controlled wall-thicknesses, double-pass welding and heat treating, creates frames that show why Cannondale is considered the “Aluminum Master”.
• Double Pass Welds
  We make a true double-pass welds rather than the putty and paint filled “smooth welds” of our competition. This eliminates stress-risers and weak points found on traditionally welded frames, enabling us to build lighter, stronger frames.
