Feel it. For us, like you, it's the secure click of a cleat meeting its pedal. It's pulling on form fitting clothing that's built to perform as hard as our bodies work. It's the first pedal stroke with anticipation of a long ride in our gut, knowing that from head to toe we're equipped to get the most out of the experience. It's the precise moment just before reaching the apex of a long climb and the exhilaration of conquering it, feeling as warm and dry as when we started. It's the thrill of going down fast. It's getting through that technical section on the 11th attempt and then nailing it every time after. It's the endo and the road rash-the challenge and the defeat. It's building it, pedaling it, breaking it and building it again-making it better in the process. It's having such high standards and expectations in how we want it to perform that we are relentless in our pursuit.
What we feel, in the pit of our souls, is a responsibility to innovate every day. What people that ride our bikes and wear our apparel feel as a result is pure-- cycling bliss.
Our 2005 Winter Apparel line marks another innovation milestone in our history. The Cannondale LE Collection celebrates our never ending pursuit of perfection. Following the same process that we use in the development of our bikes, we've designed it, stitched it, ripped it, sweated in it and re-stitched it. We've noticed corners to cut and ignored them-making the best fabric technologies overachieve in their performance. We've set the bar and taken our entire Cannondale apparel line along for the ride.
