CONTEST RULES

ELIGIBILITY TO ENTER OR WIN THE TRIP FOR TWO TO THE CANADIAN ROCKIES.

No proof of purchase is necessary to enter or win the prize. A purchase or payment of any kind will not increase your chances of winning.

The Cannondale Rockies Trip Giveaway, aka the "Contest" is NOT open to Cannondale Employees or their family members. No companies associated with the Contest are eligible to participate (including immediate family members such as spouses, parents, children, siblings, members of the same household (whether or not related) or respective spouses, regardless of where they reside.

HOW TO ENTER:

Test ride a Cannondale at your local retailer.
Register your test ride online to be entered in to the competition
Winner will be contacted In September
Competition is valid from July 7th to August 31st

The Contest begins at 12:01 a.m. CET on July 7th 2008, and ends at 12:01p.m CET on September 1st, 2008 (“Entry Period”). All entries must be submitted online. No other method of entry will be accepted. Limit one entry per household. Online Entry: During the Entry Period visit www.cannondale.com/contest/. Read and agree to the rules, restrictions, conditions, and process, and follow the posted registration instructions to complete and submit the online entry form for the Cannondale Rockies Trip Giveaway. By submitting your complete name, date of birth, address, city, postal code, telephone number, mobile phone number (optional) e-mail address, bicycle model tested, date tested and retailer name to Cannondale via the online entry form, you will be automatically entered in the Contest if, At no time will information be shared with others outside of Cannondale. Entrants must complete all mandatory data requested on the online entry form. Incomplete entries are void.

SELECTION OF THE PRIZE WINNER:

The winner of the grand prize will be chosen by Cannondale from entrants at the start of September 2008.

The Grand Prize Winner is fully responsible for any and all applicable federal, state, international and local taxes. All costs and expenses associated with Prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided, including but not limited to additional meals, taxes and gratuities and other expenses incurred by accepting the Prize are the sole responsibility of the Winner. Winner’s companion must be of legal age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, unless traveling with a parent or guardian. Travel dates and times may be subject to restrictions.

The Grand Prize is non-transferable and non-assignable, with no cash redemptions or substitutions except at Cannondale's sole discretion. Cannondale will not be responsible for Acts of God, acts of terrorism, civil disturbances, work stoppage or any other natural disaster outside their control that may cause the cancellation of the trip. There will be no substitutions for the Prize except due to unavailability, in which case, a cash prize of equal value to the face value of the Prize will be awarded at the exclusive discretion of the Cannondale.

ODDS OF WINNING:

Odds of winning are determined by the number of eligible entries received.

NOTIFICATION:

All potential winners will be notified via telephone and/or e-mail by Cannondale to verify information and eligibility. In the event that the winners do not respond to any such notification within three (3) days of date of notification, a disqualification will result and an alternate winner shall be chosen from among all remaining eligible entries. The potential Grand Prize winner will be required to execute and return a Release of Liability and Publicity Release, within three (3) days of date of receipt. A disqualification will result and an alternative winner will be selected from among all remaining eligible entries if Grand Prize winner does not meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the Official Rules and/or all required documents are not properly executed and returned within the specified period of time. Refusal or return of such documents as non-deliverable, or potential winner’s noncompliance with these Official Rules will also result in disqualification and cause an alternative winner to be chosen from among all remaining eligible entries. The Grand Prize winner must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY/PUBLICITY RELEASE:

By participating in the Contest, all entrants agree to (i) be bound by these Official Rules, including all entry requirements, and (ii) waive any and all claims against the Sponsor, Cannondale Bicycle Corporation and each of its parent, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, licensees, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers and advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with the Contest, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives (collectively, “Released Parties”) for any injury, damage or loss that may occur, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from the participation in the Contest or from the receipt or use of any prize or any travel or activity related to the receipt or use of any prize. By acceptance of the Grand Prize, the Winner grants to Cannondale and each of our respective designees the right to publicize such Winner’s name, city and state and/or likeness in any medium now or hereafter devised worldwide without limitation and without additional compensation or consideration, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law. By submission of any and all photos via Cannondale.com, all participants agree to the following photo release information:
