Liquigas - 2010
Liquigas has it made: Training camps in Italy and Spain. A fleet of ultra-fast Cannondale SuperSix, Slice and Synapse frames. And returning captains who dominated in impressive ways during the 2009 season.
Watch for Basso to be a powerful force in the 2010 peloton, along with Pellizotti – who claimed the King of the Mountains title last year as the Tour’s most aggressive rider. Kreuziger placed ninth at last year’s tour and will serve as the third captain of the team. Other seasoned riders, including Bennati and Nibali will help lead the team into battle.
Early-season races for the 2010 squad include January’s Santos Tour Down Under, the punishing Spring Classics, and April’s Giro del Trentino, where Basso will defend his title on the mountainous course.

Chicchi Takes Liquigas-Doimo’s First in 2010!
Read Full Story1/19/2010: Francesco Chicchi, as he did in 2009’s Tour Down Under, claimed the first victory of the season for Liquigas-Doimo. The compact Tuscan sprinting ace put two bicycle lengths between himself and Edgardo Simon and Danilo Napolitano in the opening stage of the Tour of San Luis in Argentina.
