For the 3rd consecutive year, the Cannondale Slice has proven victorious at the grueling Ironman Hawaii World Championships.

Cannondale athlete, Chrissie Wellington, dominated the race, taking home her 4th world champion title in 8:55:08, about a minute off her record setting time from 2009.

"I gave up some time to the other girls on the swim, but knew I'd reel them in on the bike," said Wellington. "I knew my legs would still be fresh to take it all home on the run."

And take it home, she did. Wellington was deemed the race favorite, having already proven her fitness with a World Record-setting win at Ironman South Africa and subsequent wins at Ironman Kansas 70.3 and Timberman 70.3.

"We are proud to support Chrissie and could not be happier for her as she celebrates her fourth win at the Ironman World Triathlon Championship. At Cannondale, we build best-in-class cycling products that have been tested and raced by the most elite riders in the world, and Chrissie is just the best there is." said Bob Burbank, General Manager of Cannondale
