SRAM EX1 drivetrain
Designed specifically for the increased loads and demands of e-mtbs.
SRAM Guide RE hydro brakes
4-piston, E-bike optimized, SRAM Guide RE hydro brakes with 200mm front / 180mm rear rotors
More aggressive (and damn good-looking)
Onza Canis 2.85" tires with Freeride Casing
140mm Fox Float 34 Performance fork
Longer travel 140mm Fox Float 34 Performance fork, with the beefed-up E-Bike Optimized construction for supreme confidence when things get rugged.
157mm rear hub and Ai offset chainring deliver short chainstays, a stiffer rear end and lots of tire clearance.
Double Cartridge Bearings
For extra stiffness and durability, Moterra uses double (side-by-side) cartridge bearings in each rear swingarm pivot, and a massive clamped thru-axle at the shock link
Si Motor Mount
Custom Si Motor Mount shifts the drive unit position for ultra short chainstays and ideal pivot placement. The result? Dialed rear suspension and unbelievable agility.
SmartForm C1 Alloy
Cannondale SmartForm C1 Alloy Construction for the ideal balance of light weight, rigidity and ride feel.
Torsion Box Downtube
Super rigid Torsion Box Downtube keeps the bike's center of gravity incredibly low for unmatched agility and handling.
To achieve a super low center of gravity and maximize frame stiffness, a rigid battery chamber is welded to the underside of a fully enclosed, hydroformed downtube. The resulting "torsion box" structure is massively stiffer than "open" downtube designs, and carries the battery as low and central as possible for great handling and agility.
A custom Ai (Asymmetric Integration) chainring and an extra-wide 157mm rear hub move the chainline outboard by 6mm, creating space for ultra short chainstays for nimble handling and killer traction.
To protect the motor and battery from damage, Moterras feature the BatStrap rubber battery cover and a burly, trials-style skid plate.
The world's most advanced e-MTB system. The most powerful unit Bosch makes, now with new 'eMTB' ride mode. This update replaces Sport mode and allows the system to automatically deliver the right amount of support, from 120 to 300 per cent, to match the needs of the terrain, no need to switch modes. Full support is available as soon as you step on the pedals, for easy hill starts and a totally natural ride-feel.
