Getting Fresh for Flanders
At one of pro cycling’s most revered races, one of pro cycling’s most revered bikes gets a makeover. In a partnership between Cannondale, EF Pro Cycling, and Rapha, a limited-production, modern classic is born – and now available for purchase.
Getting Fresh for Flanders
It inspires both fear and fanaticism in pro cycling. It carries decades of victories, defeats, courage, and camaraderie in its lore. To experience it is a rare and unforgettable occasion, and – the first time – a pivotal, trajectory-shaping moment in one’s relationship to cycling.
“It” is either the Tour of Flanders, or the Cannondale SuperSix EVO. Or both.
Since its debut 16 years ago, the SuperSix EVO has been no stranger to the tops of podiums. It often ends up there in style, too, thanks to a tradition of daring designs and paint work. In 2024, that tradition carries on, as the partnership between Cannondale, EF Pro Cycling, and Rapha yields yet another modern collectible: the limited edition 2024 LAB71 SuperSix EVO Changeout frameset.
Behind the Scenes
A bold design sets the tone. A deep black canvas is pierced by lightning bolts of the team’s distinct pink, topped with beautifully understated white logo treatments. Draped over Cannondale’s lightest and most advanced Series 0 carbon construction, it’s a stunning experience to ride or to behold.
The Tour of Flanders is stunning, too. A classic of the Classics, it sends pros coursing through the Flemish Ardennes and through history. Famous climbs like the Kemmelberg, the Koppenberg, the Patterberg, and Oude Kwaremount test the resolve of the riders and their machines alike. Only the fastest, most efficient, and most powerful will win. SuperSix riders of the past have emerged victorious, including current EF Education-EasyPost star Alberto Bettiol.
Arriving soon at your local Cannondale LAB71 retailer, and produced in limited numbers, the LAB71 SuperSix EVO Changeout frameset will be as rare as bikes that have won the storied race itself. Maybe you won’t take home a Tour of Flanders trophy this year, but you can take home a small piece of its remarkable history.
