New Era, New EVO

This year at the 110th Tour de France and 2nd Tour de Femmes, we roll out the pink carpet for a fresh stallion to prance onto the scene from the stables of Cannondale. The fourth generation SuperSix EVO, a jewel in the crown of LAB71, Cannondale’s cloak-and-dagger design division, is ready to tear up the tarmac with teams EF Education- EasyPost and EF Education-TIBCO-SVB. This is not just a “new bike.” The new EVO is fifteen years of audacious ambition, technological temerity, and sheer racing obsession materialized into two wheels and a carbon frame. The latest iteration of the EVO offers the incommensurable — heart-stopping speed, astonishing comfort, and unshakable responsive handling. The next EVO was made to bend minds and win races.

Cannondale has a history of producing top-notch, thrill-seeking bikes, but we didn't achieve it all in solitary confinement. The blood, sweat and gears behind this evolution were equally provided by two teams that have become as synonymous with Cannondale racing —EF Education- EasyPost and EF Education-TIBCO-SVB. The relentless pursuit of perfection and performance saw these two entities fuse into a hive mind of innovation, providing Cannondale with priceless insights that refined the EVO from an already fine-tuned machine, into a masterpiece of velocity.

Team EF-Education-EasyPost has added an absolute weapon to this years’ Tour roster in Richard Carapaz. The veteran shared a philosophy that we couldn’t have quoted better ourselves in summarizing what goes into making the next EVO:
