That’s why, in partnership with EF Pro Cycling and USA Cycling, Cannondale has selected three Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs) and Tribal Colleges & Universities (TCUs) as recipients of a three-year grant to support the launch of club and varsity cycling teams. Designed to help diversify cycling by providing support, access, and inspiration to Black and Indigenous communities at the college level, the program provides each school with equipment, funding, and mentorship. These collegiate teams will inspire cycling participation among high school students, as well as future interest in the cycling industry.
Everyone at Cannondale shares a common goal to help create a fun, healthy world for the communities in which we live and work. For more than 50 years, our commitment to spreading the word about bikes –– their health and environmental benefits, as well as their ability to improve entire communities –– remains steadfast. With the commitment and support of our employees, we have four community outreach groups focused on taking action to progress our local neighborhoods.
