Down on The Farm

The Farm started in 2022 with one simple idea: build a space where young riders could grow without getting crushed by expectations. Enduro needed a corner of the world where kids could ride hard, have fun, and figure out their own rhythm without a stopwatch calling the shots. So, we found the right crew, backed them properly, and let the whole thing breathe.

“Fun is fast” became the heartbeat.

The Farm Trip kicked things off in Darrington, where Race Cascadia set the stage and the crew brought the spark. Canyon, Alex, and Charlie rolled in with that familiar “fun is fast” energy, and the weekend ‘on’ switch was flipped. Tight trails, quick in between stage hits, and a Cannondale pit zone that felt more like a backyard hang than a race tent. The laps stayed spicy, the laughs stayed loud, and the good times stacked pizza boxes in the cabin of the van. The whole trip carried that ‘sun-on-your-shoulder vibe’ that The Farm lives by.

The van drifted east in full Farm fashion —with the usual Farm clutter riding shotgun; half-packed gear and a grill still smoking from breakfast. Nothing neat, but everything working. Coeur d’Alene welcomed the boys with Webby’s signature local groove: alley roll-through, dock pull-up, and two boats easing in like the Salmon of Capistrano. Caribou Ridge rose across the water with big energy. The boys eased into the climb with chill banter bouncing around. The descent snapped together clean. The wake surf ride back hit like a bonus track on a good mixtape — didn’t need to happen, glad it did.

Montana folded in next, warm and easy.
Spencer came in hot with wooden corners, worn lines, and dirt that felt straight out of a backyard cookout. No Crane. No Sedivy. The man was off clearing ten acres like a legend. So the crew kept it moving.

Whitefish reset the vibe. RV park out back of a farm, full view of the whole scene. Rodeo in Columbia Falls turned loud and loose — dust, lights, noise, then Charlie got dropped in the clown barrel and spun by a pack of kids as if they were expecting candy to spill out of the barrel top. Everyone’s cheeks were in full cheese mode.

Montana wrapped at Legacy Bike Park in Lakeside—the new kid on the map pulling attention for its big features and killer perch overlooking Flathead Lake. New jumps, fresh flow, and that wide-open view that feels like your’e riding in a postcard. The crew settled right in, riding until light dipped low and the air chilled enough to call it.

Oregon wrapped the stretch with deep-forest flavor.
Oakridge stacked shuttle runs under tall trees, cool pockets of shade, and trails that feel tailor-made for riders who show up ready for anything. The Trans Cascadia crew kept the laps firing. Canyon with seamless steez on every drop. Alex sprinkled a little creativity whenever the trail provided a bit of canvas. Charlie—always locked in, blending speed and chill like it was his birthright. Portland wrapped the trip with Charlie guiding the boys through his backyard line maze — tight turns, smooth pockets, and a final send that felt right for the ride they’d been on.

Olympia WA – was the final stop of the road trip before the kids continued onto Whistler BC for Crankworx.

Wash Out in Washington—Mystic Mountains & Spooky Forests
Olympia closed the run before the boys pushed on to Crankworx in Whistler. The sky flipped the switch to full rinse cycle. The crew, seemingly stoked, dropped in anyway — rain pelting helmets, roots going slick, and somehow the riding got even better. Half the shots from the whole trip came out of that mess — fast, muddy, loud.

Tim took a full-send handful of dirt and dropped it straight into his word-hole. With the dirt still staining his teeth, he described the loam palette as “hemlock, cedar… and sasquatch poop.” This spooky forest stop on a mystic mountain delivered laughs, lush, and laps — a perfect slice of Farm Family Fun before the border run.
