LAB-Born, Race-Proven
The bikes, the wins, and the summer that left a mark.
Summer 2024 marked a defining season for Cannondale, a full-blown showcase of design and performance at the highest level. The Cannondale Factory Racing Team and LAB-born bikes not only won races but also turned heads and made serious statements on and off the course. From the rowdiness of Redbull Hardline to the pristine stages of the Olympic Games—Faulkner’s Road race gold, Alan’s XC bronze, and Charlie’s top 10 finish all resulted from a blend of grit, strategy, and expert engineering. But the story runs deeper than podium finishes. Much of this victory was authored behind the scenes in the LAB, where Cannondale’s in-house team designs and creates builds bikes from scratch with one goal: to win—and look damn good doing it.
Each bike emerges from a collective of raw ideas, backed by decades of data and experience. The team meticulously pours over every millimeter of the frame, every angle of geometry, and every material, ensuring that LAB bikes go fast, fit like a glove, handle like a dream, and look like rolling pieces of art fresh out of the MODA.
Every ride that hit the course this summer was a highly functional statement of design and purpose. Faulkner’s bike SuperSix EVO LAB71, with its bold lines and sleek aesthetic, was impossible to miss. Alan’s XC bike Scalpel LAB71 embodied the beauty and volatility of the trail, as well as his personal grit. The LAB ensured that each bike made a lasting impression, both on and off the course.
The Cannondale crew—LAB and our Teams alike—don’t believe in shortcuts or compromises. Every aspect of these custom builds was designed, painted, and perfected in-house by a group of passionate folks fully immersed in their craft. The result? Bikes that perform at the highest level and look incredible doing it. Cannondale didn’t just race—we redefined what a race bike could be. This summer proved that with innovative design, unparalleled craftsmanship, and undeniable style, anything is possible.
