Josh Bryceland and the pull of old ground.
UNITY by Josh Bryceland
Josh Bryceland’s connection to this place reaches back to primary school.
A quarry landscape. Pale stone. Wet leaves. The kind of quiet that makes a kid look twice. Beauty in the ground. Limitless potential in the banks, the hollows, the trees, the gaps between one thought and the next. That feeling stayed with him.
UNITY returns to the woods that raised the first spark. The land is older now. So is Josh. The gaze has changed. The buzz remains.
Inside UNITY Woods, trail building becomes a kind of listening. Shovels bite into damp clay. Takeoffs gather shape from the slope. Tires press the first dark lines into fresh dirt. The woods lead. Josh follows with care.
Then the story widens.
Friends arrive through the trees. Sessions grow in the pockets of light. His son moves among the saplings. The place becomes family ground, crew ground, living ground. A riding spot with memory in its soil and a future still coming into leaf.
This is UNITY. A film about Josh Bryceland, the quiet quarry of his youth, and the grove still waiting ahead.
