Comments about cannondale Race 24 Boy's:

I just brought my son who is 7, his first cannondale. My first cannondale was 29 years ago "and still ride it" after seeing this bike and said after judging mine that its still around after 29 years he needs this one. The bike is more than expected, My son says the ride is insane like a race car. The shifting is super smooth he has no problym shifting the gears wile riding, the front shock is beyond expectation.. His first ride we did about 9 miles and he didnt want to stop, i remember my first ride on my cannondale, I never stopped. There is nothing more u can ask for in this bike, well as my son asked does it come with disk brakes? that would be nice to have that as an option but hands down the best money can buy at this price..

Comments about cannondale Race 24 Boy's:

I wanted a higher end 24" mtn bike for my 8-yr old son and narrowed it down between 2013 Specialized Kid Rock 24" and this Cannondale. Despite not having disc brakes or click shifters, Cannondale's front shock is superior and all other componentry is identical. Overall cost is $100 less than Specialized. I also upgraded the tires to knobbies since we ride muddy trails and the OEM tires are semi-slicks. Overall great bike for developing mtn biker. Cannondale should offer disk brakes and they would dominate the market in this space.
