SAVE SEATPOST
Through the use of sophisticated carbon layups our SAVE seatpost adds over 20mm of comfort enhancing, bump absorbing damping to the frame. Less vibration results in reduced fatigue and increased comfort, letting you ride longer and faster.
LEFTY SYSTEM INTEGRATION
The unmatched light weight and precision of our Lefty fork is an even bigger advantage on 29'ers. It's class leading stiffness and light weight make an even bigger difference on the big wheeled bikes. Combined with the superlight Si OPI stem/steerer and Hollowgram SL BB30 Cannondale's System Integration sheds hundreds of grams.
SPEED SAVE VIBRATION ELIMINATION TECHNOLOGY
SPEED SAVE rear stays create a ride-tuned micro suspension system that allows the rear wheel to track the ground, improving control, traction and handling. This allows the bike to roll faster, accelerate better and corner harder.

Comments about cannondale F29 2:
This bike was a crash replacement for an older Cannondale (great warranty service by the way) and, man, things just keep getting better. This bike flies and it rolls over decent sized rocks with ease. Also, the geometry is much better for my lower back than my older Cannondale. My only issue is with the tires, which don't really cut it in looser Sierra soils, but that's personal preference and doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. Buy this bike.

Comments about cannondale F29 2:
This bike is great as a whole. There are some little things that I didn't care for, one being that the shifter an break levers dont fit together very nice, the break housing is very big so you can't really put them to close to the shifters. The back end of the bike was a little heavier then I would have liked but I think that's only because I'm comparing it to the front which is very very light. However, the bike is very stiff when sprinting out of the saddel, and is very comfortable when seated if fitted right. It Did take some time to adjust everything to my liking but that comes with every bike. If this is your first lefty is does take some getting used to when riding and only seeing half of your fork, but now I kinda like it and would never go back to a regular fork. As a whole the bike is some where in between 23 and 25 pounds.

Comments about cannondale F29 2:
I ride about 5 miles a day but it is over all types of terrain (city streets, alleys, mountain trails) and I love this bike. I also own a Specialized 26" M-2 Team Edition mountain bike which is great too but not as nice as this bike. It is a very comfortable riding bike and handles really great.

I have ridden many hard tails BUT THIS ONE TAKES TAKES THE CAKE.I RIDE THE BIKE JUST ABOUT ON A DAILY BASE ON THE ROAD AND OFF THE ROAD IMPRESSIVE. VERY EASY TO MANUVER EASY SHIFTING INCREDIBLE BREAKING.THOSE TIRES ARE UNBELIVEABLE
IM ABLE TO GO OVER LOGS WITH EASE. IM 53 YEARS OF AGE AND RIDE APPROXIMATELY 30 T0 50 MILES DAILY
I HAVE 5 BIKES BUT THIS ONE IS MY FAVORITE. ONE OF THE BEST FEATURES ARE ITS A HEAD TURNER .....
FREQUENTLY I AM ASKED WHAT IS THE THING ?????
ONE THING IM NOT TO CRAZY IS THE FRONT HUB ALLEN SCREW TO REMOVE THE WHEEL ... SOME TIMES ITS GETS LITTLE FRUSTRATING TRYING TO FIND THE CORRECT SIZE ALLEN WRENCH WHEN OUT ON THE TRAIL COVERED WITH MUD.OTHERWISE IN TOTAL ITS A FANTASTIC PIECE OF ART.
