SAVE SEATPOST
Through the use of sophisticated carbon layups our SAVE seatpost adds over 20mm of comfort enhancing, bump absorbing damping to the frame. Less vibration results in reduced fatigue and increased comfort, letting you ride longer and faster. *On carbon models only.
LEFTY SYSTEM INTEGRATION
The unmatched light weight and precision of our Lefty fork is an even bigger advantage on 29'ers. It's class leading stiffness and light weight make an even bigger difference on the big wheeled bikes. Combined with the superlight Si OPI stem/steerer and Hollowgram SL BB30 Cannondale's System Integration sheds hundreds of grams.
SPEED SAVE VIBRATION ELIMINATION TECHNOLOGY
SPEED SAVE rear stays create a ride-tuned micro suspension system that allows the rear wheel to track the ground, improving control, traction and handling. This allows the bike to roll faster, accelerate better and corner harder.

Comments about cannondale F29 CARBON 1:
Cannondale had a demo day at one of my local shop. Their MTB never really "click" with me in the pass. Skeptical with the Lefty set up and Cannondale's MTBs in general, I went over to check it out.
Warming up lap around the parking lot, the first thing I noticed is how light the front end is. The bike is very comfortable, and with my hands on the handle bar, it is like riding my own bike, just a whole lot lighter (my set up = Carbon Stumpy HT 29).
After the warm up, I speed over some speed bumps, grass, curb, and other urban obstacles… Extremely comfortable and agile! I felt in control the whole time. No issues with sharp tight turns or up/down ramps. The recurring theme is perhaps how light the front of the bike it. Bunny hopping over stuff are effortless! I was surprise with the clearance I got with the little effort I put in.
The only negative I noticed, is that if I were to ride without my handle bars, the bike tend to lean ever so slightly toward one side. I suspect this is either because of the offset Center of Gravity, and my own asymmetry in. This offset is ever so slight, and easily corrected with a little more saddle time.
Overall, What an awesome machine! If you have the budget, do NOT scratch this one off your list before a test ride!
