Comments about cannondale TRAIL SL 29ER 2:

First ride, I did an established paved bike route about 18 miles.towards the end of my ride I came off a curb, locked up the front brakes.the impact took the rim out of round.the ride netted me a trip to the bike doctor to true up my brand new rim..I bought this bike in or to have the capability to handle some "urban riding" I did not expect that from a tough mountain bike..

Comments about cannondale TRAIL SL 29ER 2:

I tested out many other bikes in this price range of all brands and this was by far the best one for the price. Nice Rockshox Recon fork, Avid Elixir 1 hydraulic brakes work well and no problems at all so far. Frame is very nice and the 2013 is lighter than the other aluminum frames of the same category. Tires are slim and lightweight. Of all the bikes I have ridden so far while testing them out, this one can easily keep up with much more high priced bikes and feels and handles very well. Get out and ride it for yourself and you'll know what I mean.
