ALL NEW FRAME
Completely redesigned for 2013, the Trail SL frames have a new lighter-weight frameset modeled after our high-end Flash frames, new lighter dropouts and more exaggerated SAVE features. Lighter, Stiffer and Smoother.
1.5" HEAD TUBE
The oversized 1.5" head tube increases front end stiffness for better steering and control.
SMOOTH WELDS
Trademark double-pass smooth welds showcase Cannondale's aluminum frame mastery. Since we don't patch fill with putty and paint, our process eliminates the stress-risers and weak points found on traditionally welded frames, enabling us to build lighter, stronger frames everywhere in the line.

Comments about cannondale TRAIL SL 3:
First mountain bike. A lot of miles on the dale. Did some downhill but i spend most of the time on and off road. Upgraded the crankset and FD to XT and changed the chain to KMC's 10sl. Fast accelerating and gets to top speed quickly. My fastest was 55kmh. I crashed the bike when attempting to lift the back wheel.

Comments about cannondale TRAIL SL 3:
I use this bike for urban use that includes stairs and 1 to 1.5 foot pavements,,,,and for mild offroad speeding up to 20 to 30 mph.
It handles ok and frame is fairly rigid...
Tyres are a bit slippery and rear derailer tends to make some noises.

This is my first bike,as well as my first cannondale product. When I have bought this cannondale, and set up by myself. the felling have been lucky, proud, and so happy. And when my finished set up was midnight but I still got out and try to my newfriend. The fisrt feeling is comfortable, rather light weight and sporty...This is my good bike and the more plus to cannondale for ournewbebi!
