Comments about cannondale TRAIL 7:
Good looking bike, handles well and is a sure win for a bike this affordable. Handles trails real nicely but like some of the other reviewers said...the handlebars are abit wide...not a big complaint. Recommended.

Comments about cannondale TRAIL 7:
the bike is very atractive and uses shimano which i personally prefer to sram, for the same price you can get specialized hard rock disc, giant revel 1, or the entry level scott, all the bikes are very similar, its only a matter of looks and frames to consider once the components are pretty much the same... i tought the specialized large frame was the smalest of them..., the handle bar i like the giant best so i bought mine cdale and bought a new handle bar, .. im very glad with the bike and i would definetly recomendo to a friend, plus the frame has the best look if you look to other bikes you ll see the conections a little bit grosse ... sorry about my english , my name in dann and im from brazil

Comments about cannondale TRAIL 7:
We recently moved to a major metropolitan city and our bikes was still packed up. So I bought a 2013 Cannondale Trail 7 (26" wheels). The bike is smooth and handles the city commute nicely. It does really well on light beginner trails but comes up short on slightly aggressive trails. The main issues is the forward chainring derailer. It acts like $5 part dropping the chain every chance it gets or binding up. I have had my local shop try adjusting it to no avail. I don't really shift the forward gears either. So I installed an aftermarket Chain Guide which seems o have corrected or at least helps with the issue.
