• All new Mountain Bike Inspired Frame

For 2013, the Quick CX gets an all-new lighter frame with more pronounced SAVE features and a smaller diameter 27.2 seatpost for a smoother ride. Also available in a convenient step-thru "Mixte" version..

  • OverSized HeadTube Junction

Massive 1.5" Si headtube is connected to an oversized top tube and down tube for a level of steering precision and control usually found only on the World Cup Circuit.

  • Custom Forks

For off-road control and on-road comfort, most Quick CXs are equipped with 50mm-travel, 1.5" steerer suspension forks, including the radically light and stiff HeadShok DL50.

Comments about cannondale QUICK CX 3:

At 55 and getting back into bicycling after 35 years, this is the perfect bike. It is capable of going anywhere, in comfort, with handling and style. I go on rides with the local bike club and rides with just my wife, the rides are usually 10 to 35 miles in length . Not a lightweight road bike or all out mountain bike, but don't sell it short, it's the real deal Dual Sport bike. I have no problem keeping up with the other riders with their road specific bikes, 12-15 mph avg. When the paved roads gets rough I just reach down and unlock the forks and it's all smooth again, the other riders are suffering. I ordered the orange one, couldn't be happier, I've gotten a lot of compliments from other riders. I'm planning on buying a full-on road bike in the spring for more spirited rides, but I have a feeling this CX3 will be my go to bike for many years to come.
