Comments about cannondale BAD BOY 1:

This is my first decent bike and I have to say it get my zzz in the saddle a lot more than any other bike that I've had. It really puts the fun back into riding. I ride from Key Largo to Tavernier daily and to Big Pine or Key West once per month. This bike eats up the roots that are popping up the bike path. And you have to stay on the bike path or get run over by an old as RV.

My one big complaint is that the light just shines in my face and doesn't sine on the road. I guess if I were shooting a scary movie maybe that would be cool... but I'm looking for cinder blocks on the bike path...

I'm very pleased with the bike and tomorrow will be picking up a Bad Girl 1 for my significant. Hope she likes it as much as I.

This bike is amazing. My only complaint is that the light is not bright enough to see the road at night, and secondly, it shines up in your face making it even harder to see at night.

Everything on the bike is great; design is eye catching. Light is worthless at night,
shines in rider's eyes. Needs hood for the light or cap to fill the hole where the light is located. Your Techs act like they don't know what is issue is when you try to explain it to them. Suggested they might want to ride the bike at night. The bike is a great product, fix the nagging light issue.

Comments about cannondale BAD BOY 1:

First thing I noticed about the badboy1 is how comfortable and ergonomic it is to ride, secondly the acceleration from stand still is surprisingly quick and precise, the esthetics are radical and aggressive, however from a distance no one would know its a badboyd1, the word "stealthy" comes to mind right now, until you park it, you start to notive the heads turing and eyes scoping this unique machine with positive admiration, but don't turn your head for too long cos it might disappear. Now as far as the componentry for the price it all seems to be in please however I found the drive and gearing to be a bit out of place with the rest of the goods, by that I mean lacking in quality and smoothness, but mostly the lack of higher gearing is what holds it back from a score of 5/5 I find myself peddling like crazy and running out of push as soon I hit a decline, which is annoying because you know and feel the bike is capable of greater velocity.....

Comments about cannondale BAD BOY 1:

Initially I have been fascinated by the light weight design and got the bike as a motivator to get back in shape using it for a 8.5mi daily commute roundtrip. However I quickly discovered two deficiencies with the most important the gear ratio. For a 30 speed bike I truly wished I could still speed up when going slightly downhill. That would require a pretty good sprint however, which I am not willing to engage in on the way to work. The other part is the built in light: Super cool feature initially, but completely useless however. When riding down the unlighted bike path at night, the light actually glares in your face and provides no illumination on the road whatsoever. If you need to ride at night, you will need to purchase a separate light unfortunately. So, considering the price: There are probably better and less expensive bikes out there.
