• Relaxed Race Geometry

The CAADX has a slightly taller head tube and slightly slacker head tube angle than the SuperX, providing a more upright position and stable handling.

  • SAVE Stays

The flattened shape and refined butting of the stays offer significant vertical compliance for comfort and control over rough surfaces, while remaining laterally rigid for solid power transfer and confident handling.

  • Smooth Welds

A true smooth weld, rather than the sand, putty, and paint smooth welds found on other bikes, Cannondale's trademark double-pass smooth weld technology eliminates the stress-risers and weak points found on traditionally welded frames, enabling us to build lighter, stronger frames.

Front wheel issue!

      Comments about cannondale CAADX 105:

This is supposed to be a cyclocross bike but it isn't possible to swap the front wheel because of the front brake fouling the fork. It's a standard bike. Cannondale's advice was to deflate the tyre, change the wheel & then pump the tyre up again - not very handy mid race!
So I have to change the front brake over at my expense. The back brake doesn't have this issue.
Also the brake pads on the front can't be changed because the fork fouls the access screw. So no quick pad changes.

      Comments about cannondale CAADX 105:

I love this bike. Had the bike for 1 year and been on 2 tours over 3000 miles and the frame has seen its share of crashes but it still rides true. Bike is light weight and able to handle a fully loaded racks with out a problem.

Recommend changing stem, seat, bar tape, cranks, tires and adding tire liners and rim tape to prevent spoke popping inner tube ( this was a real problem)
