Relaxed Race Geometry
The CAADX has a slightly taller head tube and slightly slacker head tube angle than the SuperX, providing a more upright position and stable handling.
SAVE Stays
The flattened shape and refined butting of the stays offer significant vertical compliance for comfort and control over rough surfaces, while remaining laterally rigid for solid power transfer and confident handling.
Smooth Welds
A true smooth weld, rather than the sand, putty, and paint smooth welds found on other bikes, Cannondale's trademark double-pass smooth weld technology eliminates the stress-risers and weak points found on traditionally welded frames, enabling us to build lighter, stronger frames.

Comments about cannondale CAADX DISC ULTEGRA:
Purchased the CAADX disc for the great components at great value. I upgraded wheels set to Mavic ST disc. I was worried about the rough ride on on the alloy frame but I have to say it was way better ride than my Giant defy carbon frame in terms of comfort. Its fast and smooth ride perhaps due to the 35mm tyres.
The bengal disc brakes aren't as good as my road bike calipers in terms of dry stopping power but getting used to differences and looking forward to a lot of gravel and trails as weather improves here in iowa.
sweet look with the mavics

Comments about cannondale CAADX DISC ULTEGRA:
I am planning to make the Caadx my commuter next year. This morning i took my first ride on it and was pleased. Having the flexibility to hop off the pavement into grass or gravel with confidence is great, all while cranking out road bike speeds. I thought i would hav better braking action with the discs. I get better power to stop on my carbon clinchers !
The bike looks great and i believe a perfect fit for my needs. My first upgrade is going to be a carbon bar. I have no squeezed al under my hands in a long time and have otten used to the ride and vibration absorption that carbon affords.

Comments about cannondale CAADX DISC ULTEGRA:
The anodized paint is difficult to clean due to texture. Not sure about quality of disc brakes, but they seem to work for now.
Overall, the bike is excellent and I am very satisfied. I just want to give an honest review.

Comments about cannondale CAADX DISC ULTEGRA:
The CAAD X Disc Ultegra is a perfect do it all bike. I raced it every weekend in CX races in the area, then commuted to work and trained on the weekdays. It is by far the most comfortable bike I've ever ridden. The ride quality is unparalleled. The Ultegra groupo is a huge perk for such a low priced CX bike. Disc brakes were my main selling point and they don't disappoint! Anodized finish has protected the frame from all types of dings and scratches. Cannondale did a great job with the graphics and design. Recommended to anyone looking for a commuter or sport CX race bike.

Comments about cannondale CAADX DISC ULTEGRA:
Love this bike other than cannondale does not offer a rear rack that fits over the rear disc brake. I am a brand person if I ride a Cannondale I would like as many of the accessories to be cannondale as possible.
I look forward to a ride every chance I get now
