The world's finest aluminum road racing machine.

SmartFormed 6069 Alloy Construction

A complex mix of hydroforming, mechanical shaping, taper-butting, double-pass smooth welding and heat treating, SmartForming is the most advanced aluminum construction in the world, for lighter, stronger frames.

Elite Race Geometry

Unlike much of the competition at these price points, the CAAD10 is a thoroughbred racer. Its geometry is virtually identical to our SuperSix EVO for razor-sharp cornering and aggressive race positioning.

SPEED SAVE Stays

The flattened shape and internal butting of the CAAD10's seat stays and chain stays allow them to flex vertically, but stay stiff laterally and torsionally. This lets the rear wheel track the ground, improving speed, cornering, grip and comfort.

This is my second Cannondale. When I was getting fitted, I felt this bike was made for me. It was so comfortable. Pedaling and shifting are great! Very enjoyable ride.

Use as a long ride training bike and a race tri bike.
Plus: Race geometry almost identical to Supersix Evo. Weight within 1 lb of the evo out the box. Cost benefit too great to choose the Evo. FSA energy rims are great for long training rides, ZIPP 101 like geometry.
Minus: Could always have lighter components like seatpost, seat, stem etc. But what bike is not in that category at this price point.

Comments about cannondale CAAD10 2 FORCE RACING:

This is a really light bike, even for aluminum. It's fast, stable downhills, and comfy. Looks great. The components are top notch. However, the SRAM force front derailleur is a pain to adjust and rather harsh to downshift. This part should be upgraded to an SRAM with Yaw tech. The FSA energy wheels roll really well but they are somewhat loud when free spinning. THe crank is SRAM carbon S900 and not Force, still good though. The problem with a lot of CAAD 10s are the BB30 creaking. This particular model has SRAM BB30 pressfit which doesn't seem to have the creak problems of the lower modeled CAAD 10s with inferior BB30 bottom brackets. Overall, great road bike that you can race on weekends.

I have had this bike for a month and put 300 plus miles riding in Central Pennsylvania with varied terrain, handles great on the swift descents and seems to ascend easily ,I love how it looks and feels ! Have always been a big fan of aluminum.

I had a top end carbon bike that's a few years older and a significant amount of $$$ more. What I liked about the CAAD 10 is that I felt very in tune with the bike and this gave me more confidence on techncial downhills. It's definitely not a slacker uphill and the power transfer feels great.
