Elite Race Geometry
Unlike much of the competition at these price points, the CAAD10 is a thoroughbred racer. Its geometry is virtually identical to our SuperSix EVO for razor-sharp cornering and aggressive race positioning.
SmartFormed 6069 Alloy Construction
A complex mix of hydroforming, mechanical shaping, taper-butting, double-pass smooth welding and heat treating, SmartForming is the most advanced aluminum construction in the world, for lighter, stronger frames.
SPEED SAVE Stays
The flattened shape and internal butting of the CAAD10's seat stays and chain stays allow them to flex vertically, but stay stiff laterally and torsionally. This lets the rear wheel track the ground, improving speed, cornering, grip and comfort.

Comments about cannondale CAAD10 5 105:
I ride 80-100 miles per week. This bike feels great. I can ride all day long. The bike components are great. They look like they can hold up a long time. Wheels are just okay. This bike seems a little shorter than my trek 1.1. The bike seems to corner very well. It also handles bumps well. After I get some more miles on he bike, ill add more comments. So far so great.

I find the curve of the handlebars uncomfortable, but I love the bike. This is my second Cannondale, and I would buy another. They just plain perform.

Comments about cannondale CAAD10 5 105:
After 1 week and 300 kilometers, I had to take into bike shop, needed crankset and bottom bracket replaced.
Cannondale should avoid the FSA stuff,... its lousy...
Hopefully pickup a new set with my bike this week, however i would still recommend, it feels fantastic to ride when it is working.
I hope i just got unlucky and the replacement parts will make me 100% happy again.

Comments about cannondale CAAD10 5 105:
I'm a newbie to cycling and need something low impact as running and football (soccer) are giving me too many injuries. Did a lot of research and visited all of the bike stores in Dubai. Was going to purchase a Trek Madone 2.1 or a Scott Speedster 20. Soooooo glad that i purchased this CAAD10 105.
I picked it up today from my bike store in Dubai and took it for a 10KM ride in the desert cycling track. I remember using my brothers Steel Racer with the gear levers between the seat and handel bars. WOW. i gotta say that i am not an experienced cyclist, but am looking to get to ride 100KM at a time frequently. But WOW. Put my foot down and it goes.
I don't know what isn't great about it because i have only just got it, but i am absolutely looking forward to riding this bike more and more, and i am glad that the guy at the Bike store was able to give me good info (i know that the info is available online and forums, but its not the same as talking with someone and touching and feeling the bike) and reassured me that the bike was the one to go for.
Thanks Cannondale, and to the cycling community for guiding me to the CAAD10.
Happy Cycling!!

Comments about cannondale CAAD10 5 105:
I have started to get into cycling for almost two years now. Started with an old bike that was about over 20 years old. My wife surprised me on my birthday two years ago - with a present of my choice of bike, I went with the Cannondale CAAD 10 105 after testing Trek bike at my lbs and once on the Cannondale, knew it was for me. Great bike, proud to be spinning my wheels on this. My goal for this coming season, is to do at least 3,000 miles or more, plus longer rides and finally complete a century ride
Cannot say enough of the bike, after putting more than 4,000 miles, which was pretty good, since I am kind of new to the sport.

Comments about cannondale CAAD10 5 105:
After a year away from road riding (in which time I sold my Trek Madone 5.0) I decided I needed another dedicated road bike to train for my mountain bike races. I saw this bike in my local shop and it immediately caught my eye. In every way, the bike sold itself. Having ridden very high end road bikes, I can say with honesty that Shimano 105 is on par, performance wise, with Shimano Dura Ace-the only difference being in weight. The frame of the bike is feather-lite and actually stiffer than my old Madone. It's snappy, handles well, and is amazingly comfortable for an Aluminum bike. Cannondale did this bike 100% right in every way. The only upgrades I'll make in the future are the wheels and crank. Otherwise, it's perfect!

Comments about cannondale CAAD10 5 105:
I originally wanted the CAAD 8 (my price budget) but after riding the CAAD 10 and for a couple hundred $ difference I could not help but spend the little extra. It's stiff and quick the Shimano 105 is perfect for everyday road use, however, tyres and wheels could do better but for under $2K i can't really complain. Can't wait to take this baby for a spin again!

I pulled this bike of the bike shop rack and after one lap around the parking lot knew that it was the bike for me. Lightweight with great handling. I look forward to putting many miles in on this one!

I ride a little over 125 miles a week. This bike handles great. Have done multiple rides over 75 miles and do not feel beat up after the ride. the only issue I had was broke 2 spokes a month apart and cannondale replaced the the wheel. have put over 1800 mile is 6 months and would recommend to anyone at this price point. you will not be sorry.

Comments about cannondale CAAD10 5 105:
I'm a 62 y/o male who bikes at least 3 times weekly for exercise as a Type 2 diabetic in hopes of improving A1C results. My CAAD 10 105,though entry level, is the perfect road bike for me. It gives me comfort, speed, easy handling and maneuvering. I was prepared to spend more on my investment, but after much review of the options, I chose the CAAD 10 105. I LOVE my CAAD 10 105. Catch me if you can!!!

Comments about cannondale CAAD10 5 105:
I too researched forever on which bike I wanted to purchase. I test rode at least four or five different bikes before purchasing the CAAD 10 105. As soon as you throw a leg over and clip in, hold on tight! This this is stiff and responsive and handles extremely well. The wheels are fairly cheap that come stock with the bike. Just purchased a set of Rolf Vigor wheels and I now have an extremely light (lighter than your carbon fiber bike) that is ready for the next Crit race. Could not be more happy with the bike. The only other upgrade I have made is to the crank and cassette. The bike is now insanely light.

The only improvement I would suggest is in the handlebar wrap. Cannondale claims to use a gelwrap. If it's used, I don't feel it. Small improvement but one I am doing now.

Went into my local bike shop convinced I was buying a Specialized Tarmac, came out with a CAAD 10 and lots of money in my pocket and still have the smile on my face. Nearly as light, just as quick. Only suggestion, have your LMS reward the handlebars with a more padded gel wrap.

Researched this bike for ages, read all the glowing reviews, everyone swears by CAAD's. I'm so happy with this bike. I have the 2012 model but same spec as this. 105 is reliable and more than good enough for the average punter. This bike really performs, handles brilliantly and give a really comfortable ride. Just as light as middle of the range carbon frames so it's a no brainer at the price.
Brilliant bike, love it.

Comments about cannondale CAAD10 5 105:
I looked at the Super Six and it is awesome but in a 105 I felt that the Caad10 was as lite, maybe a touch lighter. Handles great and wherever you point this bike, you're going to get there in a hurry! The regular guys at the shop cautioned me about aluminum.... then I blew their doors off! In my opinion, best bike out there for the $$
