• SAVE PLUS Rear Stay Micro-Suspension System

By flattening and butting the chain stays and triaxially forming the seat stays, we create a rear stay assembly that allows significant deflection vertically to absorb road shock and vibration, while staying extremely rigid laterally for power transfer and confident cornering.

  • Carbon Bladed Fork

Carbon fork blades with integrated SAVE features provide additional comfort and sharp handling.

  • Performance Geometry

Compared with our Elite race geometry, the Synapse geometry features a taller head tube (2-2.5 cm taller), gently sloping top tube, slightly relaxed head angle and longer wheelbase. This combination provides a more upright riding position and a lively, yet stable feel. It’s confidence inspiring and relaxing but avoids the sluggish feel and awkward handling of many “comfort” road bikes.

Comments about cannondale SYNAPSE 7 SORA:

I have already a road bike and two days ago,I bought this bike because I had very good comments on Cannondale road bikes. After only 50 kilometers,It's very impressive.I like this bike. It's a solid construction, the rolling is quiet and comfortable.Very good position and good saddle.

The new SORA group is very good and the speeds change smoothly. It's like my other bike with shimano 105.Super bike for the price.I'm really happy.Good job Cannondale...

Comments about cannondale SYNAPSE 7 SORA:

First road bike, first new bike in 15 years. I am 51 years old and have not been on a ride of more than 4 or 5 miles for 10 years. Just rode 15 miles with no problem. Top gear, at a pretty good pace. Synapse 7 puts you in enough of an upright position to be comfortable, but still far enough over to be areodynamically effecient. Nice balance. Felt like I could have ridden further. I have aways ridden with a gel cover, even though my Mountain Bike had a decent saddle. I chose to ride with the straight Cannondale saddle with some good shorts. No problems, best first ride ever, after having some surgery in the area, I was concerned about soreness. This says alot about Cannondale saddles. I would buy this bike again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great road bike. Super performance and great value.

Comments about cannondale SYNAPSE 7 SORA:

At 6 feet and 220 pounds, I am not looking for light weight frames and as cool as the carbon frames are, they are not for me. I added as much carbon fiber as I could, installed FSA/SLK seat post, cranks, stem ,dual bottle cages, SLK brakes, Easton wheels with rd hubs (bike frame is red with white lettering), red pedals and cages, and other accents. I have an awesome bike mechanic at a local REI location and he is the best! It is interesting to see other Cannondales in his shop getting the same upgrades I have done thus far. He understands that the quality of cannondale and cool looks go together!

Comments about cannondale SYNAPSE 7 SORA:

Great value for the money... it's as if Cannondale asked what someone would want in an entry level road bike, and put it all in one model. Aluminum frame, carbon fork, drop handlebars and flip shifting with v-brakes. For the price point, it's hard to beat.

Comments about cannondale SYNAPSE 7 SORA:

This is my first road bike and I've changed from riding for exercise to riding for pleasure. My Synapse Sora has kept up with the demands I make of it and is a very comfortable ride. I recently finished a 94mile sportive with a 12 mile round trip from home on top (my previous longest distance was 55miles) and was able to ride 10miles to work the next day!!!! It gets me up long 10% hills and short 25% kicks and is really fast on the decents too.

Although I had a problem with broken spokes, 2 in one week, my retailer got me new wheels under guarantee to very happy with the after sales service.

I would happily recommend it as a first road bike to anyone.
