              Comments about cannondale CAADX TIAGRA:

Made the transition from mountain to road. I found this bike in the middle with a innate desire for road. Love after first ride. Solid and stable ride yet built for some rough and tumble. Looking forward to future miles but perpetually in the honeymoon period. More to follow.........

              Comments about cannondale CAADX TIAGRA:

I absolutely love this bike! I bought it to complement my full carbon road bike (Cervelo R3) and replace a hybrid (commuter/urban) and mountain bike, and am so happy I made this decision. It's perfectly adequate for pretty much anything except for hardcore single-track, which I never rode anyway, and is awesome for the 32 mile round trip commute I have to school. The gearing is excellent for offroad use and riding around town, though it does leave a little to be desired on the open road (not enough of an issue to cause any problems). Tiagra 4600 shifts pretty smooth, but I will say it's not the SRAM Rival I ride on my road bike, but at the price I knew that going into it and the Tiagra works fine. I wanted something that would be better suited for commuting longer distances than my hybrid and am so glad I went with this. I got a 2012 model as a leftover.

Also, you will probably end up going a size smaller than you're used to with a road bike (I ride a 51cm road, but the 48cm CAADX is the size that fit me perfectly).

              Comments about cannondale CAADX TIAGRA:

Great platform to tailor the bike to your needs. Save your money to buy this over the 105, and upgrade to your needs.

Tektro CR520 difficult to adjust. Pad friction is dangerous.

The rear derailleur cable has a partial sleeve which can collect dirt.... better to leave this off at the factory from the beginning.

Sammy Slicks good for dry conditions, not so wet.

Jagwire STI compatible adjusters are a great addition, not found on the competition. However, the competition has adjusters for the brake cables

              Hubs roll fast and smooth.

love the paint scheme on it.

Overall, the best value in the CAADX lineup. Buy this and use the saved money to tailor your bike to your specific needs/tastes.
