Tough break for Kona record-breaker

Chrissie Wellington, who broke the long-standing women's course record in Kona last year, fell on a patch of ice while riding her Slice January 2nd. As a result of the fall, she broke several fingers and bones in her hand and arm. Surgeons fixed the fractures and have her arm in a cast for the next six weeks.

Chrissie Wellington Is World Champion! Again!

Chrissie Wellington, aboard her Cannondale Slice, put in a fast bike leg on her way to a third straight Ironman World Championship and a course record time of 8:54:03. The impressive performance was topped by only 22 of the fastest men!

Cannondale`s Ronnie Schildknecht Wins Ironman Switzerland, while triathlete superstar Chrissie Wellingtonarrived in Germany last week to race the Quelle Challenge Roth.Her goalwas to keepher winning streak of eight consecutive Ironman distance victories alive, but after posting a time of 8:31:29 the two-time Ironman World Champion would accomplish what she had only dreamed about.

Slicing Through Ironman 70.3 Austria

The Cannondale Slice was powered to impressive results in the Ironman 70.3 Austria, held recently at Lake Viehofner See. Close to 2,000 racers were cheered on by a large group of 10,000 enthusiastic fans.
