    Bishop wins Fools Gold 100 Finals and wins the overall

    This past weekend marked the end of the 2012 National Ultra Endurance series with the final race taking place in Dahlonega, Georgia.  The series finals were fought out on the tough Fools Gold 100 course, and it was set to be an exciting race with Jeremiah Bishop and Christian Tanguy tied for first overall in the series.

    Race Report: Grant and Bishop bag two NUE race wins in two days for CFR

    This past Labor Day Weekend was not a holiday for CFR with two major NUE Series races on the schedule.  On Saturday Alex lined up for the 4th annual Park City Point 2 Point, while Jeremiah tackled the Shenandoah Mountain 100 on Sunday.  Both riders came out victorious in what could called be called each one's home race.

    With most of mountain biking's cross country stars in London for the Olympic Games, it's top endurance riders were on hand in Leadville, CO for the Leadville 100. CFR riders Jeremiah Bishop, Tinker Juarez and Alex Grant lined up with a very strong field that included multi-time world champion Christoph Sauser, past marathon world champion Alban Lakata and multi-time La Ruta winner Federico Ramirez.

    For the second time in his career, Cannondale Factory Racing’s Manuel Fumic won the XCO Elite Tiltle in Bad Säckingen, Germany this past weekend. In a time of 1:32 and with a gap of over two minutes to second place, he won the race in a dominant way and will proudly wear the German colors from now on in the International race circuit.
