Day 2 was all about teamwork at La Ruta.  Ben Sonntag, 2010 champion, suffered a crash early on in stage 1, leaving him in 10^th place at the end of the first day.  Teammate, Alex Grant had a rough day as well, but still managed a 5^th place finish.

This year’s 18^th running of the Race Across The Sky has become an important focus for the Cannondale Factory Racing Team, so much so that we’re sending a large contingent of racers and support staff to leave a lasting impression on the 2,000 racers and even larger numbers of friends and fans that line the legendary 103 mile high altitude course that climbs 14,000 feet.
