After a tough first part of the World Cup season, slowed down by a stomach virus, Anton Cooper found his true from and dominated the U23 race in Mont Sainte Anne in impressive fashion.

With a gap of over 1 minute to second, Cooper became the youngest ever winner of a U23 World Cup and left no doubt that he has big goals for World Championships in 3 weeks in Pietermaritzburg/SA.

In the Elite race, Marco Fontana, Max Plaxton and Manuel Fumic took 8th, 9th and 10th respectively. Not quite up to the riders' hopes, but a good place to be with World Championships coming up.
