The second round of Enduro Series was taken place in the small resort in Val d’allos. These 2 day of racing were very exhausted because each stage reaches around 1000 meters drop. At each stage, we’ve got one run practice and then one run racing.

On Saturday the race is extremely downhill oriented: very fast section and less pedaling. Jey was leader on the first 2 stages in the morning. He feels good and likes this race. Unfortunately in the last stage, he got a flat after a little mistake; he lost 1’20 in the overall timing of Saturday, finishing the run on his rim. On Sunday, the stages are totally different from the previous day: much more physical, technical and extremely long (around 15’). Jerome was really motivated to catch up his late. He took the win in the first 2 stages and was the fastest of the 2nd day. The level was very high: Vouilloz finally won in front of Jared Graves and Greg Minnaar.

Jey said “Racing is not only about winning but also about giving the best you can and find your limit. Mistakes are a part of the game you have just to minimize them”. Jey was proud to finish 7th at the end of the week-end and doesn’t lose too much point to the overall ranking. It is a mechanical sport and Jerome is still very motivated to give his best in the next EWS in Les 2 Alpes.

Concerning the rest of the team, Pauline was regular and finishes 8th in the girl category. She lost time in Saturday because of the fast section (he was 10th) but was very much getting better on Sunday (6th of the global ranking). Ben Cruz has a hard crash at the beginning of stage 1: he fell on his back and stop the race because he doesn’t feel so well. Ben's crash here.
