This week-end was the 1st big French enduro event where all the top pilots were attending the Open Enduro Métabief. On saturday we had 4 stages and on Sunday, 1 stage. As usual, Metabief kept its reputation with a muddy and rainy week-end.

That's why the stages were very greasy and technical: we use our mud tyres and go for it! I have good feeling and the bikes was working good. After the 1st day, I was 2nd behind François Bailly Maitre (BMC) for only 3 seconds, and in front of Florian Golay. The gap was closed but I was confident for sunday.

On Sunday morning we woke up with the rain (and almost the snow some times) therefore the organizer decided to cancel the pursuit and do only a last stage from the top of the mountain. For this last stage, I pushed hard and tried to catch up my late to François. It was a crazy muddy stage but finally I won this stage. The gap was enough to take the win, Bailly Maitre finished 2nd and the young Belgium kid, Martin Maes, took 3rd place.

After this demanding week-end, I won this first important event. I am very happy of this result, it gets me more confident for the next objectif: Punta Ala, the 1st World.
