Ultra-reliable DT Swiss 240 EXP internals at the rear bring a 36-tooth freehub ratchet for instantaneous pedaling engagement while minimizing mechanical drag. In HollowGram speak, SL means weight is lowered, responsiveness is increased, and efficiency is maximized.
The XC-27 rim design offsets the spokes by a few millimeters, perfectly balancing spoke tension to handle the asymmetric forces imposed under pedaling and braking. The result is better response, greater reliability, and more control.
